Reset your password
Get back into your account when you’ve forgotten your password.
Before you start
Section titled “Before you start”- You need access to the email inbox linked to your Syndik8 account. The reset code is delivered by email.
- On the Sign In screen, tap Forgot password?.
- Enter the email address on your account and tap Send Reset Link. Syndik8 emails a six-digit verification code to that address.
- Check the inbox for that email. The message comes from Syndik8. If you can’t see it, check the spam folder.
- Back in the app, enter the code into the Verification Code field and tap Verify Code.
- On the Set New Password screen, enter the new password in New Password and again in Confirm New Password. The password must be at least 8 characters long.
- Tap Update Password. You are signed in with the new password and taken to the home screen.
If it goes wrong
Section titled “If it goes wrong”- No email arrives. Check spam. If it’s still missing, tap Try Different Email on the code-entry screen and start over with the correct address.
- “Please enter the verification code” error. The code is the six-digit number in the body of the email, not the subject line. Paste it without spaces.
- The code has expired. Each code is single-use and short-lived. Request a new one by tapping Try Different Email, re-entering your address, and sending again.
