Resolve a squawk
Section titled “Resolve a squawk”Close a squawk once the work is done. Resolved squawks are terminal — the asset’s airworthiness is recalculated, and the squawk no longer counts as active.
Before you start
Section titled “Before you start”- You must be an owner or admin.
- An
openordeferredsquawk can be resolved.pendingsquawks must be confirmed first (or dismissed);resolvedanddismissedsquawks are already terminal. - Resolving a grounding squawk restores the asset’s airworthiness (provided no other grounding squawks remain).
- Open the squawk detail. Route:
/squawks/:squawkId. - Under Admin Actions, tap Resolve.
- Enter Resolution Notes describing how the issue was resolved (what parts, what was done, any sign-off details).
- Tap Resolve to confirm.
You see Squawk resolved. The squawk moves to resolved and the squawk detail screen shows Resolved on: [date] and By: [your name].
If it goes wrong
Section titled “If it goes wrong”- “Failed to resolve” — check your connection and retry.
- Reopening a resolved squawk is not supported. If the issue recurs, report a fresh squawk that references the original.
