Deferred until
Deferred until is the expiry date attached to a deferred grounding squawk. Deferral is how an admin says “I have reviewed this and judged the asset safe to operate for now, but it must be resolved by this date”.
Until the deferral date passes, the squawk does not ground the asset — bookings continue as normal. Once deferred_until is in the past, Syndik8 automatically treats the squawk as grounding again. No admin action is needed at expiry; the check is based on the date.
Deferral is only available on grounding squawks. Caution and info squawks carry no operational impact and do not need to be deferred.
