Default billing
Default billing is the term for the syndicate-level billing values that apply by default across every asset in a multi-asset syndicate. Usage rate, shortfall rate, minimum usage, event fees, taxi minutes, time capture mode, and billing basis are all default-billing fields.
On a single-asset syndicate, these fields appear on the syndicate’s Billing & Rates screen under plain labels — “Billing”, “Minimum Usage”, “Event Fees”. At the moment a second asset is added, the labels gain a “Default” prefix — “Default Billing”, “Default Minimum Usage”, “Default Event Fees” — and each asset gets its own billing screen for per-asset overrides.
Stored on the syndicate as settings.default_billing.
