Meter reading
A meter reading is the number shown on an engine meter — Hobbs, tacho, or custom — at a specific moment. In Syndik8, a meter reading is captured at the start and the end of each usage log.
The difference between start and end is the meter delta, which drives hourly billing when the syndicate’s billing basis is engine-meter.
The asset’s current meter reading is the end value of its most recent saved log. That value is what feeds previous-tacho pre-fill on the next flight.
