Install the watch app

Add Syndik8 to your Apple Watch. Once installed, the watch shows your next booking and balance, and lets you capture a flight from your wrist. For what each surface shows, see Apple Watch app.

Before you start

  • You need an Apple Watch paired to your iPhone.
  • Install Syndik8 on the iPhone and sign in at least once, then select a syndicate. The watch shows the last data the phone synced, so the phone app needs to have run.
  • This is iOS only; there is no watch app for Android.

Install it

Many watch apps install automatically when you install the iPhone app. If Syndik8 is not already on your watch:

  1. Open the Watch app on your iPhone.
  2. Scroll to Available Apps.
  3. Find Syndik8 and tap Install.

To keep it installing automatically in future, turn on Automatic App Install at the top of the Watch app’s My Watch tab.

Add a complication or Smart Stack widget (optional)

  • Complication: touch and hold the watch face, tap Edit, swipe to the complications screen, tap a slot, and choose Syndik8.
  • Smart Stack: turn the Digital Crown up from the watch face to open the Smart Stack; the Syndik8 widget appears there when it has recent data.

Check it worked

Open Syndik8 on the watch. It should show your selected syndicate’s next booking and your balance. If it asks you to choose a syndicate, open the phone app, select one, and let it sync; the watch fills in shortly after.
