Tech log
A tech log — short for technical log — is aviation’s formal record of an aircraft’s flights and maintenance. Regulators expect it to show every flight’s duration, who flew, and any defects noted; every maintenance action taken; and enough continuity that the aircraft’s current status can be reconstructed.
Syndik8 is not a legal tech log replacement — authoritative tech logs are typically paper or a specialised regulated system — but it does let admins export a PDF or CSV summary of usage and maintenance suitable for feeding one. The export is admin-only and covers a selectable date range.
The tech-log export is available from the asset detail screen for aircraft assets.
