Cycle
A cycle is a single landing or touch-and-go counted against an aircraft’s life-cycle maintenance. Landing gear, tyres, and certain airframe components wear per cycle rather than per hour — an aircraft that does many short training flights accumulates cycles much faster than hours.
In Syndik8, cycles is one of the three maintenance interval types, alongside hours and days. A cycles-based maintenance item becomes due when the asset’s cumulative landings plus touch-and-gos reach the next threshold.
Cycles is hidden from the new-item creation form because most syndicates use hours or days; existing items with a cycles interval continue to display and recur correctly.
