Registration
A registration — sometimes called a tail number — is an aircraft’s unique identifier. UK registrations start with G- followed by four letters; US registrations start with N followed by digits and letters; every country has its own scheme.
In Syndik8, the registration is a field on an aircraft asset. It appears on asset cards, on the calendar, on ICS feed entries, and anywhere the aircraft is named. Registrations in the documentation site are always G-DEMO — the fixed value used in the skip-and-load-test-data demo syndicate.
Non-aircraft asset types (boats, properties, vehicles) use the generic “identifier” or “name” field rather than a registration.
