Usage rate
The usage rate is the per-hour base cost of using an asset. It is set on the asset’s billing configuration and is the starting point for every member’s effective rate: the member’s rate modifier adjusts this base up, down, or to a fixed override, producing what they actually pay.
Usage rate is expressed per hour of whatever the asset’s billing basis is — engine-meter hours, block hours, or airborne hours. The same number is quoted in the syndicate’s currency and stored without VAT.
