Billing basis
The billing basis decides which of a usage log’s time values drives the hourly charge. Three bases are supported:
- Engine meter — charge on the meter delta (Hobbs, tacho, or custom).
- Block — charge on off-blocks to on-blocks wall-clock time.
- Airborne — charge on block time minus taxi minutes at both ends.
The billing basis must be consistent with the syndicate’s time capture mode: engineMeter basis needs the meter fields captured, block and airborne need the clock-time fields.
Changing the basis affects future logs only. Existing logs keep the snapshotted values they were saved with.
