Effective rate
The effective rate is the per-hour usage cost a specific member actually pays on a specific asset. It is the number the rate resolution chain produces after combining the asset’s base usage rate, the member’s scheme rate modifier, and any per-asset rate override.
The effective rate is what shows up on the charge preview when a member opens the Log Flight screen, and it is what finalisation charges per hour logged. When a usage log is saved, the effective rate is snapshotted onto the log so that subsequent scheme changes do not back-date the charge.
