ICS feed
ICS is the file-format name for a calendar document in the iCalendar standard (RFC 5545). An ICS feed is a URL that serves a live, refreshing iCalendar document. Almost every calendar app — Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, Outlook, Fantastical, Thunderbird — can subscribe to an ICS URL and keep itself in sync with the source.
In Syndik8, each signed-in member has a personal ICS feed URL that contains their own bookings (pending, confirmed, and completed) and the events of every syndicate they belong to. Other members’ bookings are never in your feed.
The URL carries a subscription token that authenticates the request. Polling cadence is the calendar client’s choice — Syndik8 cannot push updates.
