Grounding
Grounding is the highest squawk severity in Syndik8. A grounding squawk indicates a critical safety or airworthiness issue — the asset must not be used until the issue is resolved or formally deferred.
A grounding squawk only takes effect once an admin confirms it. A pending grounding squawk does not yet ground the asset. Once confirmed and open, the asset is not airworthy: new bookings are blocked, and a banner on the asset detail lists the reason.
Confirmed grounding squawks can be deferred with an expiry date and a recorded reason — the admin has judged the asset safe to operate until that date. When deferred_until passes, the squawk grounds the asset again automatically.
